Grant Review Teams have hit the ground running
More than 100 nonprofit leaders attended our May information sessions. After that, many more reached out asking about our application process. We're excited about the response to date.
70 girlfriends have volunteered to manage the entire grantmaking process - from reaching out to potential applicants, screening for eligibility, organizing and training grant review teams, systematically reviewing applications in our Five Focus Areas and conducting a financial review of the applications.
Grant Review Teams are comprised of both new and seasoned girlfriends.
A GIANT shout-out to Grant Review Team members and
Grants Steering Committee co-leaders Pip & Michelle!
Here's how it works this year. WOW!!!
Ninety-nine girlfriends hosted

Join other ninety-nine girlfriends for a gathering of merriment, art, and music
Wednesday,August 1, 2018, 6 PM
We'll start in the garden with drinks and appetizers at the old bordello built in 1883, then wander across the street for dinner, art, and entertainment in the garden of one of the original grand old farmhouses on Mt. Tabor. Originally built on two quarter-sections (500 acres) in 1878, this was also a stagecoach stop, where the horses, on their way to the Columbia River from Foster Road, would drink at the well on the property, while their weary riders took refuge in the hotel/bordello across the road.
$20/person (covers food/beverages/entertainment) plus $2.50 service charge. Don’t let cost be an issue. We have several free tickets because due to a member’s sponsorship. See our Member Events Calendar on our website for details.
If you signed up for a Surprise Summer Social, an intimate gathering at a members home, the “surprise” will be revealed by July 1. You'll learn who your member host is and which girlfriends will be sharing in the social. Stay tuned for an email from Heidi Yorkshire.
We are updating our Member Directory.
This is a resource for members only.
We never share member information outside the organization.
Instructions will be emailed soon.
Keep an eye out!
