Dine-out fundraiser 10/19, update on Sparky the Bald Eagle, and a quick (2-minute!) favor you can do for us.
Welcoming Cold Weather
Though our busy season has officially come to and end, there is plenty going on around CWC. It's not too late to schedule an on- or offsite presentation, register your child for our afterschool program or Pygmy Day Camps during school closures (or - why not all of the above?!)
An update on our friend, Sparky
Last month our beloved Bald Eagle Ambassador underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his wing. The surgery went well, but the tumor tested positive for squamous cell carcinoma. We are hopeful but still unsure of what his future will look like and whether the tumor will come back. At this time we are giving him as much support as possible and are pleased to report that he has been moved from the ICU into an outdoor room, where he will continue to heal before returning to his mew.
When you give to the Chintimini Wildlife Center, you ensure that Oregon's wildlife are protected, supported, and celebrated. We wish to thank all of our supporters for their generosity and compassion. You are Champions for wildlife.
