YOU CAN HELP A BALD EAGLE RECOVER AND RETURN HOME TO THE WILD

A huge thank you to Dr. Jennifer Warnock and the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine for performing surgery to repair this 2nd year Bald Eagle's fractured humerus! He has a long road ahead of him but we are hoping he makes a full recovery.

If you're interested in donating to the medical costs and post-surgery care, visit our YouCaring fundraising page!
NOTABLE MAY PATIENTS
Osprey - Recovering in our clinic from a fractured wing and lead in his blood

Nestling Red-tailed Hawk - Recovering in our clinic after falling from her nest and breaking her wing.

Female Mallard and her 8 ducklings - Mother was struck by a vehicle but is now recovering nicely at our clinic!

Female Douglas Squirrel - She was held improperly by the public and was suffering from emaciation, dehydration, and had one of the worst cases of aspiration pneumonia the clinic had ever seen.

You can always check out our Facebook page for more pictures, videos and updates of patients!

A HUGE THANKS TO AN AWESOME LITTLE LADY!
Lilly Mellenthin, the daughter of former volunteer Serene Mellenthin, came by to drop off some donations to Chintimini Wildlife Center. In lieu of birthday gifts (she just turned 5), Lilly asked for her friends to donate to the Center. Her donations included paper towels, food and gift certificates. We are so lucky to have such wonderful community support. Happy Birthday - and thank you Lilly!
