This month, we welcome Shawn Prenzlow, Spyglass Fiberworks to teach us more details about the substance of our lives - fiber. How is merino different from Cormo? Why would you choose wool from a Columbia sheep instead of Targhee? Which is the best choice for drape? For softness? For hard wearing? And do you want worsted spun or woolen spun? Single? Multi? Chain?
I love that we are involved in a creative pursuit that has so much depth of information available to us - so many choices, so many things to consider - or not consider.
Shawn will be bringing hands-on samples so that you can feel the difference between a long and a short fiber.
It’s going to be a really interesting evening!
