The Friends of the Grandview Library are selling a wide variety of high-quality herbs and vegetables just in time for spring planting to support the GHPL Foundation! All proceeds benefit the library. Order forms are available online and at the library. Delivery is available only for Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff for a $5 fee.

Harriet Kirkpatrick: An Artist’s Life
Thursday, April 4, 7 pm
Tri-Village residents Pete Diehl and Sally Kriska discuss the life of their grandmother, early Grandview Heights resident Harriet Kirkpatrick. A founding member of the Ohio Art League and Ohio Watercolor Society, her work is included in the Columbus Museum of Art collection. See her paintings on display at the library in April. ACT Crash Course

Are you taking the ACT soon? Dr. Srinath Sampath from Prepaccelerator is offering a free, 4-hour rigorous and fast-paced crash course that focuses on problem solving for all 4 sections of the ACT, plus the optional Writing section. Registration required.  

Dungeons & Dragons Club
Saturdays, April 6 & 27 and May 18, 1-4 pm 
Grades 6-12 

Take an adventure into Arcana! Dungeons & Dragons is the original RPG. Fear not as you join fellow players in becoming a Ranger, Wizard, Knight, and more to work together against the forces of evil. Learn how to play in the realms of fantasy where everything depends on the roll of the dice and the only limit is your imagination! No registration required.

Dr. Gene Gilliom shares photos and stories from his 2018 trip to Bhutan, located high in the Himalayan mountains in South Asia and rarely visited by Americans. Learn about dramatic mountain scenery, colorful historical Buddhist sites of worship, artist workshops, festivals, and hikes, including a challenging trek to the "Tiger's Nest," a fabled monastery and one of Bhutan's most holy sites perched on the face of a cliff high in the mountains. Dr. Gilliom, who created OSU’s Social Studies and Global Education Program in 1969, celebrates 50 years of leading study tours. He has visited 85 countries.

MUSIC: Ray Kamalay

Guitarist, singer, and music educator Ray Kamalay presents “Musical Flea Market: Trifles and Treasures From Our Melodious Past,” featuring songs and stories of terrific old music from around the world. Part of the 29th Annual Music in the Atrium indoor concert series.

Mondays through April 8, 6 pm
During the fight against the Nazis and Imperial Japan, and shortly afterward, Hollywood was involved in the war effort by telling stories about heroism and sacrifice. These six films are justly considered un-"expendable!"
