Art Sale: Henry Rawles
15 beautiful watercolor paintings by the late Upper Arlington artist Henry Rawles are for sale to the public as a GHPL Foundation fundraiser for the library. Paintings will be displayed in Nonfiction on the second floor of the library from February 1-29, 2020. View purchase details, a numbered image list, and Mr. Rawles’ biography.

Explore artifacts, documents, and fascinating local legends with Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Historical Society members during new monthly Open Houses in their Archives Room on the second floor of the library. The Spirit Room of Jonathan Koons

Thursday, February 13, 7 pm 
Athens, Ohio, author Sharon Hatfield shares the true story from her book about nineteenth-century farmer-turned-medium Jonathan Koons. One of thousands of mediums throughout the antebellum United States during the Spiritualist movement, he attracted visitors from across the country to his southeast Ohio cabin night after night.
