34th Annual Music on the Lawn sponsorships

The 34th Annual Music on the Lawn summer concert series at the library takes place on Tuesdays in June & July from 7:30-8:30 pm. More than 5,000 people attend an average of 8 concerts every year! Urgent need for blood donors 
Wednesday, March 20, 1-7 pm
Give blood in the library's Meeting Room. Schedule an appointment or call 1-800-RED-CROSS. Walk-ins will only be accepted if all appointment slots have not been filled. There is a severe shortage of type O blood and all blood types are needed. Every two seconds in the United States, a patient needs blood. Your single donation may help save up to three lives. 

Diary of a Cool Kid

Channel your inner Greg Heffley (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) with local author Andra Gillum! Create your own “Diary of a Cool Kid” stories about your lives at school & home and finish with an “Oreo Touch” Mad Lib. Registration required.       

Babywearing Dance Party

Harriet Kirkpatrick: An Artist’s Life
Thursday, April 4, 7 pm
Tri-Village residents Pete Diehl and Sally Kriska discuss the life of their grandmother, early Grandview Heights resident Harriet Kirkpatrick. A founding member of the Ohio Art League and Ohio Watercolor Society, her work is included in the Columbus Museum of Art collection. See her paintings on display at the library in April. ACT Crash Course

Are you taking the ACT soon? Dr. Srinath Sampath from Prepaccelerator is offering a free, 4-hour rigorous and fast-paced crash course that focuses on problem solving for all 4 sections of the ACT, plus the optional Writing section. Registration required.

Mondays through April 8, 6 pm
During the fight against the Nazis and Imperial Japan, and shortly afterward, Hollywood was involved in the war effort by telling stories about heroism and sacrifice. These six films are justly considered un-"expendable!"
