Teen Open Mic Night
Wednesday, January 8, 7-8 pm
Grades 7-12

Can you sing or play an instrument? Are you a poet or an actor? Whatever your talent, share it with other creative teens at the library. No registration required. Refreshments provided.

Get tips with genealogist and GHPL librarian Grace Freeman and learn about library's research databases like & FamilySearch, Fold 3, and Find A Grave.

Original Vs. Remake: The Producers

Join library staffers Chris Boerger and Michele Reinhart for a discussion of Mel Brooks' classic 1967 comedy and then Susan Stroman's 2005 film of Brooks' own Broadway musical adaptation.
Far Tune
Thursday, January 23, 7 pm
Author, teacher, and Grandview resident Terry Eisele talks about his new graphic novel series Far Tune. This compelling, coming-of-age story follows Fartun Hashi - a Somali refugee girl living in Columbus, Ohio - as she navigates the daily home and school life of a Midwestern teenager.
