Mobile DAQ System For On-Site Testing
ARi is finishing production on a mobile data acquisition system designed to collect data on engines when test cell installation is not a practical option. The ARi Mobile DAQ System allows the user to collect vital data from engines and machines regardless of location; this means data can be collected in-application, on-site, and in less time than traditional test cell operations.
This DAQ system runs via a 110V plug-in, and provides the ability to measure pressures, temperatures, and any signals consisting of 0-5V and 4-20mA. The steady state and transient capabilities of the system ensure that it provides all the functions of a test cell while also allowing alternative testing (such as chassis testing), and on-site applications (such as large ships, locomotives, power generation, etc.). The Mobile DAQ will be a great benefit to professionals using convertible testing locations while seeking a mobile and compact source of data collection for an on-the-go project.
ARi Gives Back at
India Heritage Event
ARi had the pleasure of attending the 10th Annual Passage to India on Friday, May 13 as a Gold Level Sponsor. The Passage to India is widely recognized as a premier cultural event in central Illinois established by a small group of individuals dedicated to supporting the Easter Seals commitment to providing the finest level of therapy to children with disabilities. This year there were more than 1100 guests at the Bollywood-themed event providing a glimpse into the Indian Cinema, complete with authentic Indian cuisine, culture and entertainment.  The 2016 Passage to India was a huge success, raising approximately $1,000,000 for Easter Seals!

ARi is proud to have the opportunity to support a great cause while bringing cultural awareness to Central Illinois!
ARi Attends Dream Factory Fundraiser
On May 13, members of the ARi recruiting and marketing departments attended a bowling fundraiser for the Central Illinois Dream Factory. The event was hosted by a local staffing agency seeking to bring together companies that serve engineering and IT industries in the hiring and HR sector. The ARi team competed against teams from other companies for top honors while networking with professionals and learning more about the engineering recruitment field.

ARi Engine Simulation and Analysis Growth
ARi has significant capabilities in the realm of engine testing: we have recently invested in engine simulation software and resources to run this software at our East Peoria facility. Our goal is to use engine simulation analysis in collaboration with our customers to reduce engine dynamometer testing, analyze off design scenarios, and optimize turbomachinery. We intend to reach this goal by using simulation software tools for tasks such as optimizing a turbocharger’s airflow and efficiency to an internal combustion engine, which helps increase fuel efficiency, improve durability, and lower emission levels for present and future engines.
