The task for October's Masters category was to capture a shot of any fish yawning. Its mouth had to be wide open, not feeding and not displaying a parasite. Winning the Master's Category, was Judy Townsend with her image of a jawfish looking right into the lens with its mouth wide open.
Placing second through fifth was Kelly Casey's "Weedy" Rhinopia, Walt Sterns and Wayne MacWilliams with Goliath Groupers, and Wayne MacWilliams' adorable little clownfish yawning as big as it could!
The Challenger's Category required photographers to capture a pre-historic looking creature. Taking first place honors was Marsha Stamatakis with her photo of a Crocodile fish showing off a toothless grin.
Placing second through fifth was Kelly Casey's evil-looking Spiny Devilfish, Zarina Staller's Swimming Iguana, Bernie Meier's Stargazer, and Kevin Hanson's Horseshoe Crabs; one of which was "hitching a ride!" Congratulations to all!
