In the Loop

 Music's in the Air

Tulsa loves-loves-loves live music, maybe even more than it loves beer and coffee. From November 2nd-5th, the Music Cities Convention will host its 11th global edition, presented by the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts, and Culture, at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Tulsa.

The convention features two days of talks and presentations, complimentary music tours, after parties, and tons of live music and networking opportunities. The Tulsa MCC will be their biggest and longest event yet, and an all-round celebration of music and cities.

You should attend if you are a city leader, musician, music industry professional, night-time economy manager, and anyone else with an interest or focus on how music is instrumental in creating vibrant and sustainable cities. Head here for a full schedule of events by day

COTU Hangout Was a Success!

This week, DTP hosted a Hangout at the Center of the Universe with food vendors, music, and games as an opportunity to solicit feedback on the preliminary redesign of the iconic bridge and plaza. We engaged with dozens of individuals and directed many more to the online survey to provide additional feedback. The hangout event was featured by all four local television stations, including KTUL Channel 8, and the Tulsa World. There's still time to take the survey through Monday, October 31st.
