In the Loop

 Tulsa's Been Dreamin'

"You're really going to want to come with your eyes and ears open to experience Tulsa like you've never known before, through art, music, and food." That's an excerpt from our recent interview with Steph Simon, musician and founder of Dreamland Music Festival, ahead of this month's Spark Summit at Dreamland Music Festival from September 16th-18th.

DTP is proud to be an event sponsor, and we're excited to see creativity continue to flourish in our community. Check out the rest of the interview on our blog and get your tickets today!

Take a Step, Take a Picture, Repeat

Downtown Tulsa Partnership and Tulsa Creative Engine have partnered to offer the first 918 Day Downtown Photography Tour on Sunday, September 18th, from 5-7 PM. The tour is free to attend but advance registration is required, and attendance will be capped at 20. The tour will conclude at 7 PM at the final tour spot, In the Raw Vū, where tour participants can relax and grab a bite, network, and review their images as we watch a skyline sunset.

Photographers and influencers are welcome to share their favorite tour images with DTP, the best of which will be showcased with credit on the DTP website and reshared on its social media accounts!

Can't Stop Reacting to all this Music

Not sure if you knew, but Tulsa's kind of a big deal in the music industry. Fansub and Tulsa Creative Engine are excited to bring to you their newest series, REACT at The Vanguard this Friday, September 9th, at 8 PM. Expect a new experience centered around DJs, dancing, and releasing new music, featuring some of Tulsa's hottest DJs and performers like Dr. View, Nomad, Heartwerk, and Sydney Lee. Use promo code "FANSUB" to get $5 off your ticket!

Another survey?! It must be my Birthday!

Downtown Tulsa Partnership is currently planning its holiday season activities! (Yes, we hear the groans in the back that it isn't even October yet.) We are seeking to understand local business demand for “pop-up” or temporary retail spaces Downtown over the upcoming holiday season (late November 2022 through early January 2023).
If you or someone you know has a small retail business, or you support Tulsa-area entrepreneurs through your work, please take our quick survey designed to gauge the following:

  • Would Tulsa entrepreneurs like to participate in a seasonal pop-up program in Downtown?
  • What are the ways DTP could support local entrepreneurs interested in pop-up retail spaces?
  • How could we craft a pop-up program accessible to a wide range of local entrepreneurs?
