April 2018
From the President
Hi CinCWN Friends,

One of the things I have been thinking about is that I love that everyone is so unique!

For years, manufacturing and even schools were being designed for mass consumption. Everyone was being programmed to the middle, the average, the un-uniqueness in us. The world was designed for us to fit into it. Now we, as consumers and humans, are demanding that the world fit us and our uniqueness.

Did you know there are over 80,000 flavor combinations at Starbucks?

We crave and desire our unique needs, wants, desires. We are not working hard to become average. We working hard to stand out from the crowd. And every day, businesses that target their products to the individual are the ones that are thriving.

Celebrate your individuality!! Stand up against average!  Be your own unique self.

Happy April,

StevieSwain@cincwn.com

No matter how large or how modest, everyone has an estate and something in common—you can’t take it with you when you die. So how should you think about your estate? Social Media Tips

Importance of Images

Use visual elements as much as possible in whatever social platform you are using. Sixty-seven percent of marketing decision makers say that they use visual content on social media for its engagement value. Incorporating visuals—from photos to videos, GIFs, and memes—in your social media content is easy. Just make sure that whatever visual asset you’re using is relevant to your content and the audience.

Leadership Skills

Communication

As a leader, you need to be able to clearly and succinctly explain to your employees everything from organizational goals to specific tasks.

Leaders must master all forms of communication, including one-on-one, departmental, and full-staff conversations, as well as communication via the phone, email, and social media.

A large part of communication involves listening. Therefore, leaders should establish a steady flow of communication between themselves and their staff or team members, either through an open-door policy or regular conversations with workers. Leaders should make themselves regularly available to discuss issues and concerns with employees.

How do you keep the doors of communication open with your associates?
