TAG Region Trailer Upgrade - I recently completed a lighting upgrade to the TAG Region Response Trailer. When we first built the cabinets in the trailer an electrician friend wired in overhead LED lights that are powered through an extension cord connected to a household outlet. This arrangement works great when we can connect to AC electricity. The new system, which is powered by a DeWalt 20 volt tool battery, consists of LED lights that are attached to the overhead toolbox on the street side of the trailer. While not as bright as the AC lights, this light strip works when AC power is not available.

    • August 14

    • October 9
  • Skid Steer Loader Training - We have 2 slots left in the skid steer loader training that is scheduled for July 31 in Rome, GA. If you are interested, please contact Mike Kennamer.

Ways to Serve
by Mike Kennamer

The most popular training session I do is entitled, "16 Ways to Get Involved in Disaster Response Ministry". Last month we discussed prayer needs and issued an invitation to "adopt" a day to pray for the ministry. This month, we will invite you to share this ministry with your friends.

I love to tell people about the ministry. That’s why I enjoy visiting churches and hosting work days at the warehouse in Rome. It is during these meetings that I get to meet new people and tell them about the ministry. If you are reading this newsletter, if it likely that we have met at some point and I got the opportunity to tell you about the ministry.
I’d like to ask your help in telling others about the ministry. Here are some ways you can help:

  • Like our Facebook page ( and share/like our posts.
  • Follow us on Twitter (
  • Invite me to visit your church to share about the ministry (to the congregation or any subset thereof).
  • Allow me to write an article for your church newsletter.
  • Invite me to plan a training session at your church.
  • Host an informational session at your home and invite me to share the ministry with your friends over dinner or coffee and dessert.
Please join me in spreading the word about the ministry.

Adopt A Day Campaign - Help us to support this ministry by participating in our Adopt A Day campaign. Please consider adopting a day that is special to you (birthday, anniversary, etc.). It's easy:
  1. Select your day.
  2. Commit to praying for the ministry on that day.
  3. As God provides, donate funds to help support the ministry for that day. It takes about $100 per day to sustain this ministry.
Email Mike Kennamer to let him know what day you are adopting and provide your postal address so he can send you a refrigerator magnet.
