Fall Technical Conference 2022
The Fall Technical Conference (FTC) seems so long ago now, but is ‘news’ since the last newsletter in September. As always, many thanks to our wonderful sponsors and exhibitors without whom our conference would not be possible! We had a great turnout for the conference and excellent presentations – thank you to all of those who presented at the conference as well as the volunteers on the planning committee! We look forward to seeing you in 2023 for another great FTC (Which will be September 19-20 at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center)!

Denver Public Schools 8th Grade Career Fair
On November 29th and December 1st a team of RMS members volunteered to run a booth at the Denver Public Schools career fair for 8th graders. What did the team have to say about interacting with these youngsters? Not surprisingly- "They had a lot of questions"! The students wanted to know what was the most interesting part about working as an industrial hygienist, what kind of skills are needed to pursue this field, what the salary range was, and of course, what all the fancy gadgets were laying on the table (gas monitors and various types of PPE).

Thank you so much to all who went and spread the good word about Industrial Hygiene as a career path!
