The Artery

January 18, 2020

Hi, On Point listeners,

You want a sneak peek of what's going to happen in Iowa on Feb. 3? You got it.

We hosted our own mini-caucus on the airwaves this week. Six voters from the Hawkeye State joined — ranging from Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren supporters, to backers of Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar, to those still undecided (and lamenting Cory Booker's exit from the race).

It was refreshing to hear from real caucus-goers in the state that will be the first to start narrowing down the Democratic field. We had plenty of positive feedback from listeners, too: "Your show today, Wed. Jan. 15, was great – it was helpful to me in deciding who to support for caucus."

Stay tuned — the race for the Democratic presidential nomination kicks off for real in just over two weeks.
