Chalmers Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (CNRC) is a community-based organization within the Chalmers Neighbourhood. We work with current and former residents, businesses, service providers and supporters to plan and work on initiatives that benefit the broader community of Elmwood.

We are thrilled to invite you to the first ever Elmwood Night Market!

The Elmwood Night Market will take place on Friday, August 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on 180 Poplar Avenue Winnipeg, MB (Field).

The Elmwood Night Market will be hosting a wide variety of unique, and creative vendors where attendees can expect to meet local artisans, local artists, community organizations and enjoy some live music! So come out and end the summer with a bang!

Please note: While we love our furry friends, please leave them at home for this event (unless a service dog). See you there!

Munroe Farmers Market at 460 Munroe Avenue!

Shop fresh and local every Wednesday at Munroe Farmers Market! Featuring fresh produce, local products, baked goods, paintings, and more from over 25+ vendors! Food trucks will be onsite.

Join us every Wednesday from 2:00pm-6:00pm at 460 Munroe Avenue (Corner of Watt and Munroe).

Tots in Elmwood: Stay & Play!

Join us for a FREE drop-in program for children aged 0-5 years old and their parents/caregivers every Tuesday & Thursday from 9:15 to 11:30 am!

Snacks will be provided.

Saturday schedule: August 6th from 9:15 am to 11:30 am!

NO-COST Green Team Services!

We know how busy life can get. If you would like to have the grass on your property cut free of charge by our Green Team, please call (204) 669-0750 to book a time for us to come to you.

You will need to provide all the equipment required. Please ensure the materials are ready to use i.e., full of gas, battery fully charged, undamaged and sanitized. Everything will be sanitized after it is used.

Please note: This is only open to Chalmers Neighbourhood Area Boundaries.

Our goal is to provide the Chalmers neighbourhood and surrounding Elmwood community with better access to fresh and low-cost fruits and vegetables!

Onions & Potatoes from Peak of the Market and Winnipeg Blue Bombers!

On Tuesday, July 26th, Peak of the Market and Winnipeg Blue Bombers delivered fresh produce to our centre. We received 10, 50 lb. boxes of onions and potatoes!

Thank you, Peak of the Market and Winnipeg Blue Bombers for providing our centre with additional access to healthy food.
