Chalmers Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (CNRC) is a community-based organization within the Chalmers Neighbourhood. We work with current and former residents, businesses, service providers and supporters to plan and work on initiatives that benefit the broader community of Elmwood.

Elmwood Night Market at 180 Poplar!

A special thank you to all our planning committee, community contributors, vendors and volunteers for making the first-ever Elmwood Night Market one for the books!

Our semi-annual Bulky Waste pick-up and drop-off was a success!

A record-breaking 50 Chalmers households took part in our Bulky Waste removal in Chalmers from August 29-30. 3 twenty-yard bins were filled to the brim and taken for free tipping at Brady Landfill. We couldn't have done this without the help of our CNRC staff, City of Winnipeg, Driving Force, and Bin There Dump That!

You're invited to our 10th Annual General Meeting!

By attending the Annual General Meeting, you will get to know the programs and services that we offer in Chalmers and the broader community of Elmwood! This will also give us an opportunity to present a summary of the programs and services that we provided for the year 2021-2022 while sharing our goals for the upcoming year with our community residents. Lunch will be provided at NO-COST!

Transportation to 180 Poplar Avenue can be arranged upon request! Please let us know in advance by calling (204) 669-0750 if you need a ride to attend the meeting.

The Elmwood East Kildonan Active Living Centre aims to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles, active living, and social connections for older adults ages 55 and up with programs for our entire community!

Memberships are $20/year
