Please join us for all of our fun events in March!
  1. First Friday, downtown Billings, March 4th, 5-7pm at the DBA office, 116 N. 29th St. We will have a wheel to spin for prizes, and some snacks.
  2. Pint Night at the Last Chance Cider Mill on Montana Avenue, Wednesday, March 9th, 4-8pm. Inform your server that you are there in support of the Montana Women’s Run, and they will give the proceeds to the Women’s Run for the Billings YWCA. Come on over after the Wednesday night run! We’ll have the wheel there too, to spin for prizes.
  3. The great St. Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday, March 12th. Dress in fun St. Patrick’s attire and walk with us and our “really big shoe.” The parade starts at 11am near Granite Tower downtown. We don’t know yet just where we will be staging, so just look for the shoe.
And be sure to register for the Race, May 7th. Run or walk either 2 miles or 5 miles through downtown Billings. Check out our website, And we need volunteers for the Race too!

President's Notes

by Dave Coppock

Welcome to March, everyone! That was quite a February, weather wise. Shorts and t-shirts one day and 5 layers of clothes another. I know lots of us were running through all conditions as well as on treadmills, Pelotons, rowing machines, or whatever will get them through the winter. That said, we did manage to have a great Froze Noze Run/Biathlon on Super Bowl Sunday. A special thanks goes out to Dan and Nancy Hillman for organizing the event, which included a 5k run, followed by a line of bowling to improve your time. The best part was the weather, which might have been one of the best days we’ve had for that event!

Coming up in March, the Rimrunners will host the 41st running of the Shamrock Run, Sunday, March 13 starting at Pioneer Park. This year we’re back LIVE after going virtual for the past two years due to COVID. We’re hoping for a big field this year. The date also happens to be the start of Daylight Savings Time, so come out to the run and as they say, Spring Ahead!

Froze Nose was Biathlon Fun

Organized by Dan and Nancy Hillman, the Froze Nose was great fun. Participants did their speediest 5K run before hitting the bowling lanes. The incentive was to bowl your best score in order to take time off your running. Check out the trophy winner and pro bowlers below.
