or as short as you feel, but ride." ~ Eddie Merckx

Kennedy Road - The 18/36 km. TT Report
This morning of June 11th the Kennedy Road 18/36 km. TT took place. 3 riders elected to do 1 lap of the course for the 18 km segment, while 5 other rode 2 laps of the 36 km segment. The sky was overcast with rain occurring southeast of the course. Initially there was no wind on the first lap, then a south wind came in on the 2nd lap and blew out the clouds. It was the best time of the day to get in a ride.
Yousef, coming across the line like a missile, posted the fastest time of 25:56.4 for the 18 km TT, while Alex Corry came in second place, and Gord Grimes was 3d on his road bike. Darren Vian was the 36 km winner with a time of 55:49.8, followed by Rick Clavir at 58:27.6, with Rick Zalewski third at 1:01:31.7. Lori MacCallum was the fastest women at 1:08:22.8. It was a good day for a Time Trial. Thanks to our volunteers: Andrew Szafranski, the Director of Turns, and recording the splits, Bill Ross as our photographer, and Alex Corry who joined us after his ride to spot the incoming riders. The results are posted below. Detailed results in EXCEL including the splits will be sent to the participants as they can't be inserted into the email due to the document width.
