"Ride as much or as little, or as long
or as short as you feel, but ride." ~ Eddie Merckx
The Racing Season continues...
McCowan TT June 28th, 2022
5 riders rode the McCowan course. It was under a sunny sky, a temperature of 24C, and with a strong south wind in the riders' faces on the return leg. JD Power was the quickest time followed by Alex Corry and Ken MacDermid. Thank you to Andrew Szafranski, our volunteer at the turn, who also recorded the split times. The results are posted below. There was generally a 3 minute difference in the split times which showed the effects of the south wind.
On Saturday we will be time trialing at the Kennedy Road Course.
The Canadian Masters Cycling Championships are taking place this weekend at Victoriaville, Quebec, the home of the late Guy Lafleur. Several of our elite Time Triallists will be racing there, and I wish them all the best in their pursuit of glory. Go Eagles (and Uxbridge too)!
