or as short as you feel, but ride."

Inter-Club Time Trial Report
On Thursday evening the 15 km InterClub TT was held at the Barrie Cycling Club’s Ingram Road course. This course is the best TT circuit one can ride on, traffic is light, the course is lined with trees, sweeping curves and very gentle grades. It is awesome for time trialing. There were 15 riders competing, with 8 riders being Newmarket Eagles and the remaining 7 were Barrie Cycling Club riders. Barrie riders Noah Simms was first and Anton Varabei second with our Shawn Wilcox making the podium. Barrie undoubtedly won the competition between the clubs. Note that the Barrie riders rode standard road bikes while the Newmarket riders had TT bikes; this clearly shows how strong the Barrie riders are. The results are below. The Webscorer id # is 148990. This concludes the Newmarket Time Trial Series for 2018.
The time trial participation grew this year and the eGals made a significant contribution to that growth which I expect to continue next year.
Proposed Hill Climb
Your Race Secretaries are actively searching for a parking area for those who will be choosing to drive to the Hill Climb course, which will be on Bathurst Street from Graham SR to Morningside SR. The climb has a 900 metre section averaging 8%, which will be a great challenge. The course is 15 km from downtown Newmarket if you choose to ride there. After the hill climb we could ride around the Marsh if you so desire. The date is not set but we expect it will be within the next 2 weeks. No special equipment is required, your road bike will suffice. Start your training today!
