McCowan TT Report June 25, 2020

13 riders turned up for the McCowan TT. It was the best attendance this year as I believe the weather has been an adverse factor this spring. The weather was ideal. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the air was still, and the temperature was 25C. Willi Popp rode his first TT with the Eagles was the quickest with a fast time of 21:46.8. JD Power was second at 21:52.4, and Andrew Szafranski was third at 22:21.7. Paolina was 4th and fastest lady at 22:32.5. Some riders set personal bests, so a good day was had by all.
A special thanks to our volunteers: Andrew Darke at the turn and taking splits, with Lisa Zalewski and Peter Henry spotting the incoming riders. The results are posted below.
Note that the McCowan course may not be available on Saturdays as posted in the schedule. The Church will be hosting a Farmer's Market next Saturday to support food banks. If you want fresh locally grown food from farms on McCowan Road, why not drop in after the TT. Please read my emails for location changes. Also it has been requested by several riders not to go to Pottageville as that course is extremely hilly, so we will stay with Kennedy Road and McCowan as our TT courses. .

Next Saturday July 2nd the TT will be at Kennedy Road.
