This message explains how you may attend the Jan 4th Point Man of Newburgh meeting in-person or online.
Point Man of Newburgh is inviting you to the January 4th Membership Meeting.
There are two attendance options. The meeting will combine an in-person meeting at the Epworth United Methodist Church and an online meeting through the Zoom app. You may attend either way. We will not be serving a meal before this meeting.
If you feel safe and you can support our COVID-19 policy, you are welcome to join us in-person at the Epworth UMC. Our COVID-19 policy requires that everyone wears a mask covering their nose and mouth. We also ask that participants practice social distancing with six feet of separation and do not hug or shake hands, please. Seating will be in the sanctuary. Participants should use every other pew, leaving an empty pew between. Hymnals are placed in the pews indicating spaced seating locations for individuals or couples.
The formal in-person meeting will begin at 1830 hrs and end at 1930 hrs at the Epworth United Methodist Church located at the corner of Epworth Road and Lincoln Avenue. (4455 Epworth Rd, Newburgh, IN).
If you feel unsafe or are uncomfortable with our safety policy, we understand. You are welcome to join us on-line.
The online meeting will be opened at 1730 hrs. This is to allow new Zoom app users a little extra time to work through questions and for members to chat with each other. Participants’ microphones will be placed on mute when the meeting begins at 1830. They will be unmuted to ask questions or to respond. (Please just wave your hand to be recognized and unmuted). If you are joining through Zoom, please click on this link:
First time Zoom users will see a prompt asking them to download Zoom app files. Please do this. The files are small, safe, and will download quickly.
If you know a veteran, who is not on our distribution, you may forward this e-mail to them.
Please join us in-person or online.
Our speaker Monday will talk about the SWIRCA organization. We've recently created a formal connection with SWIRCA as one of Point Man of Newburgh's strategic Community Partners. Join us to hear what this means to area veterans.
