Get Involved in 2021-2022

It’s that time of year again to sign up for a committee with the South Carolina Bar.

Serving on a committee introduces you to new colleagues and helps you grow in the legal profession. SC Bar committees—which are composed of Bar members from throughout the state—develop, implement and oversee many goals and programs for our organization.

All members are invited to volunteer their expertise, time and talents to benefit the SC Bar, the legal profession and the communities we serve. Learn more and sign up to serve in 2021-22 by visiting

Birdies for Belief recap
Yesterday, over 80 golfers hit the links for the third annual Young Lawyers Division's Birdies for Belief Golf Tournament benefitting the Make-A-Wish foundation. The tournament was held at the Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms. All of the proceeds raised went to the foundation to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Thank you to all of our sponsors and golfers who  participated in this event!

Cheers to 20 years

The Young Lawyers Division's Cinderella Project is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! Though there were no boutiques this prom season, we could not let the milestone pass without honoring those Bar member fairy godmothers who've worked hard to make this program a success. Follow us on social media for volunteer spotlights and check out this video message from some of our founding fairy godmothers. Learn more about the Cinderella Project here
