Expand your career as a professional caterer at the area’s #1 sports club.

Farnham Rugby Club is looking for a capable team to produce food of a standard that reflects both our reputation for brilliant hospitality and our status as the #1 community sports club in the area.

We are friendly, lively, successful and ambitious. We constantly look to improve performance in all aspects of club life – from the pitches to the kitchen.  We want a catering team that shares this ambition.

The jobs are part-time but the hours aren’t the most social, so the team will share the load over an average of 6-8 hours during the week and 12 hours over the weekend.  More hours may come available subject to events at the club.

The first job is to produce hot meals for sizeable groups of hungry rugby players – young and old - on Thursday evenings after training sessions and after matches played throughout the weekend during the season.

Then there are other events to cater for – such as our supporter’s sit-down lunch at 1st team home games and to produce the food for the coffee, bun and burger hatch we operate on match days.

Our ideal team comprises a chef and a couple of cooks.

The chef must have the knowledge and experience to manage and operate a fully equipped catering kitchen producing quality menus for 100+ people at a sitting.

The cooks need the skills and aptitude to produce and present specific meals without direct supervision while using their creativity as a cook.  If you can cook but feel all this may be a step to far, not to worry as we will provide the necessary additional training for the right people.

Farnham Rugby Club is an equal opportunities employer and is proud of its proactive approach to diversity and inclusivity.

If you want to be part of this team in either role, send a brief CV with a note as to why you think you are right for this job to:
