Reuse Rendezvous this weekend

This weekend, Lethbridge has a world of treasures waiting to be discovered (and taken home for free!). This year's Reuse Rendezvous includes locations around the City with items that include everything from books to barbeques, Christmas items to clothing, kids items to kitchenware.

All of the locations that are participating in this year's Reuse Rendezvous can be found on the searchable map on our webpage. Plan a route to cover as many locations as possible or search the map for specific items.

Last minute registrations for Reuse Rendezvous locations will be accepted until noon on Friday, September 9.

Happy treasure hunting!

Electronics Recycling part of Reuse Rendezvous

For the first time in five years, electronics recycling will be part of this year’s Reuse Rendezvous. Environment Lethbridge is partnering with Efutures Renewables, to ensure that leftover electronics are disposed of properly after this year’s event.

We are very excited to be working with Efutures. Unlike previous years where residents needed to find their own ways to recycle these items, Efutures participation will make it easy and convenient for leftover electronics to be properly recycled.

Efutures has agreed to pick up electronics on Sunday evening from any household who requests pickup when they register their location for Reuse Rendezvous. Items eligible for pickup include computers, printers and televisions, along with household electronics such as small kitchen appliances, fans, etc.

News from our Partners

As we approach 100,000 people, the City of Lethbridge is looking for feedback on the future growth and direction of our community. As part of this process, a number of surveys are available on topics related to environment, historic resources and efficient land use. Groups and organizations are also invited to host kitchen table conversations to explore these topics in more detail. A kitchen conversation toolkit is available on the City's webpage.
