February is a great month to take time to learn something new at our museums right here in Glenview! The Grove and Historic Wagner Farm have three exciting programs lined up for next week. And, don’t forget you can sign up for a 45-minute guided tour of the The Grove Interpretive Center on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Advance registration is required. Cow Chats at Historic Wagner Farm
Tu, February 23 or Th, February 25, 9:30-10 a.m.

Come converse with the cows and get an up close view of them. Learn what goes into raising cows and why they are so important for farmers and you. Resident fee is $5 and nonresident fee is $7.

Virtual History Happy Hour - Kennicott Famly in the Civil War
Th, February 25, 4-5 p.m.

Relax, pour yourself a drink as Grove Archivist, historian and author, Elizabeth Kopp, takes you on a virtual exploration of American Civil War.  She will tell never before told stories of the extended Kennicott family and their life during the war. Fee is $5.

Wonderful World of Bears at The Grove
Sa, February 27, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Join us in the Interpretive Center to learn all about the world of bears - from what they eat to where they live. Feel bear fur and touch real claws and teeth. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Resident fee is $5 and nonresident fee is $7. Adults and children must register separately.
