Innovative app Grosh launches in Baltic countries
As more and more consumers are discovering the advantages of electronic shopping lists, Grosh has appeared as the new player in this category. It tries to do much more than just put power to the paper - it's the first intelligent grocery app!
Grosh users across the world
The map above shows cities where Grosh has been used for grocery shopping until now, the top 5 countries being Canada, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain and USA. Grosh has been visiting some countries where it’s not even launched yet, as our users bring their favourite app when shopping on their holiday 🙂
Co-creation with the users
About a week ago, the Grosh team, located in Denmark, was approached by several persons from the Baltic states about bringing Grosh to the Baltics. The Grosh team and their newly found Baltic friends worked quickly to get the translation done. So today, Grosh, the intelligent grocery app, launches in Appstore and Google Play in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Like no other grocery app
When Grosh ships in a new country, it comes with a dictionary of groceries, popular stores etc – but the real strength of Grosh is the clever crowdsourcing per language of grocery names, their categorization, stores and their location. Founder of Grosh, Soren Aldenryd, explains: "There's a lot of firsts in Grosh. We've tried to be innovative and do something different. For instance, Grosh builds up a model of store interiors, so we can sort your list in the right order depending on which store you’re in. It also makes shopping suggestions based on your habits. Our Grosh servers crunch big data every day to make the system smarter".
Grosh can be downloaded for free from Google Play or Apple Appstore via http://groshapp.com (or use the attached QR code)
