 We are hosting events to help our customers resolve open verification requirements. We are promoting these events directly to impacted customers, but we also need your help to make customers aware of this opportunity.  We will have scanners at these locations and can assist with uploading documents.

Symantec Issues
We have identified the most common Symantec issues reported by Brokers like you. If you ever experience any issues with your Symantec VIP app, please review the list of common scenarios below for some recommendations on how to resolve your issue(s).

 
Scenario Broker Action
1. You have a NEW cell phone, laptop,
desktop, etc.
- Download/Reinstall the Symantec VIP app again
2. Recent Software/system update to
your device

(may change the configuration of your
Symantec app)
- Delete/remove the app from your device

- Download/Reinstall the Symantec VIP app

- Provide Broker support with new VIP Credential ID number
3. You have the Symantec app
downloaded onto multiple devices
- Choose one device for app use

- Provide AHCT with Credential ID number of that SPECIFIC device
Verification Tips
Now that your clients have enrolled in a health plan, they may receive a letter from Access Health CT requesting documents to prove details from their application related to Identity, Income, or Immigration status. Visit our website to learn more about how to navigate these verification requirements (also called "VCLs")!

Special Enrollment Periods

If your client has a Qualifying Life Event, their Special Enrollment Period will generally last 60 days from the date of the event. To learn more about Special Enrollment Periods and how to provide proof of your Qualifying Life Event, click here.
 
Form 1095-A Distribution: Starting This Week
If your clients enrolled in a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) through Access Health CT in 2019, they will be getting a form in the mail (called Form 1095-A) with information about their insurance coverage by the first week of February 2020. Form 1095-A will also be available through the customer's online account.
