Dear <<First Name>>,
Regrettably we have to start again this week with an obituary.
R H Cradock 1934 - 2019
"It is with great sadness that the death is announced of Dick Cradock on 21st May, after a short illness.
His contribution to the FP Club and Club Centre was simply immense. A past Chairman of both clubs, he was a passionate FP and a great supporter of all the sports sections.
A natural ball player with a skilled eye, and a competitive spirit, he played scrum half for FPs and North Midlands where the stand-offs were always appreciative of his great service. A talented golfer whose ball striking was exceptional, he was a consistent receiver of silverware in the FP section as well as Club Champion of Royal Aberdeen. He was also a prominent supporter of the Curling and Petanque sections.
He was active in the formation and acquisition of the Club Centre in 1969, his connection with 86 Queens Road dating back to the 1930’s when his grandfather owned the property.
The FP community today acknowledges the passing of one of it’s finest stalwarts and he will, indeed, be fondly remembered.."

Dick's funeral will take place at the West Chapel, Aberdeen Crematorium at 11am on Thursday 30th May.
The Four Nations Grand Masters Hockey Tournament is now underway and we're looking forward to welcoming players, officials and supporters from all the teams over the weekend. Fingers are crossed that the weather forecasters are proved wrong for their BBQ on Sunday afternoon but if not the food will just have to be moved closer to the bar!
The football season draws to a close in the next week or so. Hearts will try and stop Celtic' domestic treble in the Scottish Cup this afternoon. Then we'll have Arsenal against Chelsea in the Europa League Final on Wednesday evening. Finally next Saturday it's the Champions League Final. Both European games kick off at 8pm.
If there's enough interest we're looking to arrange some curry for the Champions League Final on 1st June. If you are interested please leave your name behind the bar so that we have an idea of numbers. Cost is likely to be £15 a head.
Finally, don't forget that it's Quiz time again. Next Friday, 31st May, will see the next gathering of the Grammar FP cognoscenti, and probably some others as well. Dallas will be starting the questioning at 7.30pm as always.
