Hi <<First Name>>,
We are less than a week away from welcoming you to the Cranleigh Adventure Race on Sunday 12th March, the first of our Spring Events. Details you will need for the event are below, *please don't get confused!
*Please note that there is another Off-Road Mountain Biking event happening on the same day in Cranleigh. Don't be misled by their signage! Our courses will not overlap. Our HQ is at the Bandroom in Cranleigh Centre, see below.
The Cranleigh event will be the first in our Spring Series of events. I have you entered in for the <<Event>> <<Class>> <<Category>>. The event base is in the Cranleigh Bandroom, Nr Cranleigh Leisure Centre, Village Way, Cranleigh GU6 8AF. This is where you will come to register for the event, see map. The parking is in the large Leisure Centre Car Park and is free on a Sunday.

The larger map indicates where the other event is taking palce.
The forecast for Cranleigh indicates that there is going to be a wet week ahead of the event so expect plenty of mud! It is too early to predict the weather for the actual day, but do come prepared for any eventuality! I will be in touch again before the event to update you.
Registration will be open from 08:30am in the Bandroom, with Transition for the bikes just outside. At registration, you will be handed your maps and timing dibber. All events start by the transition at 10am with MTBO being started in 30s intervals soon after. Remember a pen to mark up your maps! There will be entries on the day available for a £5 admin fee.
Parking, This is in the large car park in front of the Bandroom and shared with the Leisure Centre. Parking is free on a Sunday
Train, The nearest suitable train station is Guildford, 9 miles North of the event. Do check that there are no rail replacements on your journey and allow extra time!
Baggage can be left at your own risk within the hall or next to your spot in Transition. We are the only ones in the building. Your car is close by for any valuables.
We can label and look after your keys at Registration, if required.
Tea and Cakes, There will be the usual cakes, hot drinks and soup for sale to enjoy while you plan your route and then when you return.
Presentations to those who score the highest points in each category on the day will be made shortly after all the results are in.
Next Events, The next event after Sunday is on 9th April and sees our return to Bentley Copse, near Shere in the Surrey Hills.
Results, photos and race report will be on our results page soon after the event. We would love to see you share some of your images on the day using the #triadventure and #Tri4All.
I look forward to seeing you there,
Yours in Adventuring,
