Bentley Copse Adventure Race

Oh yeh, it's nice!  We are a couple of days away from welcoming you to the Bentley Copse Adventure Race on Sunday 9th April. I have you entered in for the <<Event>> <<Class>> <<Category>>, so come to the Registration desk when you arrive to collect your event pack.
 

Bentley Copse Scout Camp is just North of the Village of Shere, Hound House Rd, Shere, Guildford GU5 9JHThe event registration will be held in Parker Lodge within the Scout camp,follow the signage or see map. There is parking on site over 2 locations. Those here first can park closer to the hut. Expect a short walk to Registration.

Race Report from the last Bentley Copse Event


The weather
 

Up to 17°

Yay! I hear you all say, the forecast is for a warm sunny day after a dry couple of days, come well prepared and hydrated to race, those tracks are going to be zippy!  We will have water available from the kitchen as well as in Transition. Do come prepared for any eventuality.

Registration will be open from 08:30am in Parker Lodge, Transition will be setup outside. Here, you will be handed your maps and timing dibber. All events start by the transition at 10am, with MTBO going off at 30s intervals.  Remember a pen to mark up your maps! There will be some entries on the day for an additional £5 admin fee.

Parking, There is hard standing parking over 2 areas within the camp. Please park efficiently.

Train, The nearest train station is Gomshall, a 3.4 mile cycle from the North. Do check that there are no rail replacements on your journey.

Dogs, The event is on a camp site, so I ask that if you do bring your dog, keep it on tight control please.

 
Baggage can be left at your own risk within the hall or next to your spot in Transition.  We are the only ones in the building. Your car is close by for any valuables.


We can label and look after your keys at Registration, if required.


Tea and Cakes, There will be the usual cakes, hot drinks and soup for sale to enjoy while you plan your route and then when you return.

Presentations to those who score the highest points in each category on the day will be made shortly after all the results are in.

Next Events, The next event after Sunday is on 7th May at a new venue Liphook, in East Hampshire

Results, photos and race report will be on our results page soon after the event. We would love to see you share some of your images on the day using the #triadventure and #Tri4All.
