Happy New Year!
Welcome New Subscribers!
Here we are again, at the end of one year and the beginning of another. Oh, how time flies!
I can't say I am glad for the end of 2016, but I am excited for what 2017 will bring. I feel like the past year is old and worn out. It's time for a new fresh year. I have a couple new calendars and a new weekly planner. I'm looking forward to filling them with my plans and adventures - both at home and abroad.
I've written my resolutions. Resolutions always feel like another chance to make improvements in my life - each year, I am allowed to start over. Despite what has happened in 2016 - good or bad - I am starting with a clean slate for 2017.
What are your resolutions for 2017?  Will you travel more? Let's make this year our best one yet!

New Year's Resolutions - 2017

One thing about publishing my New Year’s resolutions is that I can go back to them and see how well I did in keeping them.  I’m a little afraid to look…

I think for now, I’ll just look to the future and form some new resolutions for 2017.  Here are my thoughts:

This past year I was able to travel much more than I thought I would. (I did not expect to go to Japan!) I’m excited and eager to continue traveling in 2017.  I have a few international trips in the planning stage – I’ll let you know more as the time gets closer...

Highlights of London

If you’d love to travel to a foreign country or city, but are concerned about the language barrier, go to London.  There are many advantages to visiting a country where you can understand everything and London is a great choice.

Changing of the Guard

No trip to London would be complete without a visit to see the changing of the guard outside Buckingham Palace. To get a good spot...
