Epiphany
Welcome New Subscribers!
Today is Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day and the Twelfth Day of Christmas. In some religions, it is celebrated with nearly as much fanfare as Christmas, while in others, it just gets a passing mention. Many people without a religious interest may not realize the significance at all.
One of the traditions that some people associate with Epiphany is that Christmas trees and decorations should remain up until this twelfth day of Christmas has passed. My trees are still up - I don't always leave them up, but this year I did. They are so pretty; although, I plan take them down tomorrow.
The word  "epiphany" means revelation. Christ was revealed to the Wise Men.  Epiphany can also be used in our everyday conversations, meaning nearly the same thing as a "light bulb moment." I thought it would have been appropriate for me to talk about an epiphany I've had recently, but no amazing ideas have come to me.
Sometimes we get epiphanies, other times we work hard to come up with ideas, plans or solutions.  That doesn't make them any less important. In fact, the harder we have to work at our plans, the more meaning they can have for our lives.

Nashville Parks

Within Nashville itself are several parks and greenways which offer hikes up to twelve miles long. There are paved bike trails and horse trails in addition to the hiking trails...

Packing Electronics

Sometimes it is difficult to choose what to pack and what to leave home. Electronic devices can add tremendously to the enjoyment of your trip. Unfortunately, they can also add a lot to the weight you have to carry around. Here’s a look at what devices are available and  how to decide which ones deserve a place in your bag.

Electronic Devices

When it comes to electronic devices, there are many options to choose from.  The most important advice here is to not duplicate, or at least don’t triplicate or quadruplicate (is that even a word?)  Think about...
