Snow Day!
Classes were canceled at Valparaiso University for two days in a row this week, which included my class on Wednesday evening.  The blizzard of 2016 took over our lives starting with a power outage on Wednesday morning and evolving into 48 hours of roads closed to everything but emergency traffic.  I hope today we can all get out of the house and shake off this cabin fever.  In the meantime, catch-up with Ms. Mae and pass the newsletter on to your friends.  Thanks for subscribing and enjoy the posts this week!

One of the coolest (pun intended) experiences we had while traveling in Europe was going to Jungfraujoch, known as the “Top of Europe.”  The site is located at the train station that is the highest – over 11,300 feet – in elevation of any in the continent.  Travelers can not continue higher except on foot or by helicopter.
