Queer Worker Reflective Practice

Hello Rainbow Network Community,

Rainbow Network is here to support you in the wonderful work you do. At times, that involves responding to your needs as individual workers.

Are you a member of the LGBTIQA+ community and working in the LGBTIQA+ youth sector? Are there times when you feel you are the only person in your organisation who is connected to the issues facing the LGBTQIA+ community? For workers who may face real-world LGBTQIA+ discrimination in both their work and their personal life, the personal is often political.

Rainbow Network is offering a free, online, reflective practice session in which you will have the chance to speak openly about these issues with a small group of other LGBTQIA+ youth workers. This session will offer a valuable opportunity to connect with others who are working within queer communities which they also belong to and to share experiences and resources. The meeting will be led by trained facilitators and the participant list and all conversations shared will be confidential.
