There are a few events coming up in July, and we've compiled some recent recorded webinars and online events from IDAHOBIT Day and LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Day below. Also just a quick note that the Service in the Spotlight session for Magistrate's Court LGBTIQ Applicant Practitioners Team has been moved to Thursday 8th July and you can register below.

Service in the Spotlight: LGBTIQ Applicant Practitioners Team, Magistrates Court of Victoria


When: Thursday 8th July 1pm

The Queer Family Violence Sector Network hosts a series called "Service in the Spotlight", which showcases services and programs that are relevant to the LGBTQ+ family violence sector, in an effort to build better referral pathways within the sector.

This latest short webinar will feature the LGBTIQ+ Applicant Practitioners Team that operates out of the Magistrate's Court of Victoria, with a focus on common themes in their work, services they offer and referral pathways to them.

Next month we are running our Rainbow Tick community of practice on Standard 4: A Welcoming and Accessible Organisation

New parents, new possibilities


The Centre for Family Research and Evaluation, and Respect Victoria are launching the New Parents, New Possibilities report which examines the experiences of LGBTIQA+ parents in their transition to parenthood and looks at the potential risks of family violence during this time.
