2nd SOPS Airman competes in Titan Games

Senior Airman Kyle Lucas, 2nd Space Operations Squadron satellite systems operator, competed in the Titan Games, a show that gives everyday people the opportunity to compete in head-to-head challenges, which aired January 31.

Lucas decided to compete in the Titan Games to compete with his brother Tyler, who is currently stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. [Read more]

Air Force space legend visits the Pentagon

Air Force legend, space pioneer and Guinness Book of World Records record holder, retired Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Stafford held a question and answer session at the Pentagon, Jan. 29.

Stafford spoke before an audience of Airmen, coalition partners and industry leaders about his contributions to both the Air Force and NASA. [Read more]

Tax changes for military, spouses

Most service members and their Families will see a reduction in their tax bills this year, but there are a number of changes in U.S. federal tax laws that they need to be aware of, said Army Lt. Col. Dave Dulaney, the executive director of the Pentagon’s Armed Forces Tax Council. [Read more]
