Pearl Harbor still significant 77 years later

Former president Franklin D. Roosevelt quoted the attacks on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, as “a day which will live in infamy.” According to the Smithsonian Institution’s Smithsonian Magazine, Japan’s surprise attack on Pearl Harbor resulted in more than 2,000 deaths, including 238 Airmen. [Read more]
