From Soldier to civilian — Program provides caliber transition to WarHorse Soldier

Three years ago, Sgt. New direction for female-specific flight equipment

The Air Force is working to redesign the gear used by female pilots across the force after facing challenges with current flight equipment. “We have women performing in every combat mission, and we owe it to them to have gear that fits, is suited for a woman’s frame and (one) can be in for hours on end,” said Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Schriever stands down for resiliency

The 50th Space Wing held a resiliency stand-down to promote mental health March 22. Schriever Airmen gathered at the fitness center to hear Col. Jennifer Grant, 50th Space Wing commander, and members of the U.S. Air Force Academy Equestrian Center Remount Foundation speak about the importance of maintaining a healthy mental balance and highlight available helping resources. [Read more]
