We might not be able to provide critical fabrics to make face masks. At this time we need to consider Textile operations as essential to life.
We need your help in telling the government, PLEASE KEEP TEXTILE MAKING/PROCESSING UNITS and CUT AND SEW UNITS OPEN.
US Textile mills, knitting mills, finishing houses and cut and sew business are working hard to provide fabrics to make masks and PPE during this Covid-19 crisis. We are working from early morning till late evening to ship out orders for people making face masks and our production staff is working to continue to make fabrics in these difficult times. We need your help in reaching out to the Government. This is a cry for help.
Governor Wolf has ordered shutdown of textile manufacturing and cut and sew businesses, considering them non essential. We need our US knitting mills, fiber mills, finishing houses, cut and sew businesses to continue operating even in these critical times. I have hundreds of emails from people all across the world asking for fabrics to make masks.
We make fabrics in USA using local knitters, weaving mills and finishing houses using yarns made by our US mills. Countless cut and sew businesses, and people who know how to sew are making masks for healthcare personnel and for the community. Please spread this awareness, help us stay open.
Textiles are an option for making critical PPEs like Face masks, gowns etc. We need all such facilities to help in making fabrics as fast as possible. The Government should be reaching to these mills and small businesses to help them remain open to help our people. DO NOT SHUT DOWN THE TEXTILE SUPPLY CHAIN - FROM FIBER TO FINISHED MASKS.
GOD BLESS AMERICA. Protect yourself and stay safe all. We will keep supplying until someone forces us to stop.
