Gonna only do one day this week, but it'll be GREAT!!!  

The pertinent details for those in a hurry:
👍🏽RE BBQ will be CLOSED on Thursday, 8/4. 
👍🏽RE BBQ will be OPEN on Friday, 8/5 from 3:00 until 7:00PM.


News from the back of the house:
At the risk of jinxing something. I have noticed that much to my relief and hopefully to your getting dinner home in one piece that the carry out trays have significantly improved in quality over the past few cases. Fingers crossed that continues. Maybe the next case of bags I get will be less harrowing to use, too! 😁

Wholesale meat pricing hasn't come down much yet, a few pennies here and there, but hey, at least it hasn't gone up. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The big BBQ Trailer is for sale! 
Short story is: I need to downsize. DO NOT PANIC! RE BBQ isn't going out of business and I'll continue to cook and serve the food you love as usual for the time being. Later on down the road, I'll do it a little less often and a little more specialized, because I'm keeping The BEAST (My smoker on wheels) and I own plenty of other BBQ gear. 

The Craigslist ad is expiring so I've moved it to Facebook Marketplace as it seems a bit easier to maintain. The new link is:

Sorry, NO CATERING! 
I am deeply flattered that you would consider RE BBQ to provide food for your special event, but catering is not a service RE BBQ provides at this time.  I hope your party goes great no matter who feeds it, though!

BYOB is A-OK at RE BBQ: If Coke, Diet Coke or Water ain't your thing, you are welcome to bring your own beverages from Drifter, Urbanrest, 9 & Hilton Market, or where-ever you get your libations. There is a bucket for refundable bottles & cans next to the patio exit.
 Non-refundable containers go in the trash. 

Enough of the restaurant administrivia, here is this week's eats!

CLOSED for THURSDAY, 8/4/22:
Sketchy weather forecast that changed every time I read it for Thursday, so I figured it was best to sit Thursday out instead of standing around twiddling my thumbs while it threatened to rain every half hour.

The Menu for FRIDAY, 8/5/22:
Friday's SPECIAL:
Pork Belly Banh Mi Bowl - Pork belly rubbed with chile pepper and lime, pork shoulder marinaded with brown sugar and oyster sauce, both smoked and served over rice with pickled carrot and radish, red cabbage, cilantro, scallion, and a special hoisin sauce. 

Friday's MEATS:
1/2 lb Sliced Kielbasa - beef & pork kielbasa sliced and smoked. tray.
1/2 lb Pulled Pork - dry rubbed, slow smoked pork shoulder. tray or sandwich.
1/2 lb Beef Brisket - dry rubbed, slow smoked brisket.  tray or sandwich.

Friday's SIDES:
BBQ Beans - seasoned white, navy & pinto beans with onions and BBQ Sauce.
Cheesy taters - Cheese, taters, sour cream, cheese, and more cheese. 
Cheetos - You know what a cheeto is.
Kettle Chips - Sea Salted kettle chips.



Everything is available until it's gone each evening, just like a bakery.
If you show up at 5 minutes before closing time, be prepared for limited selection.
