☀️ Hello Lovely Ones! ☀️

I hope wherever you are, you’re warm 😂 it’s pretty cool in the evenings and early mornings here but the sunshine is glorious - I even had a little jog in my beanie this morning (not just my beanie of course!!) and jumped into the sea after a little meditation under the morning full moon - what a way to start the day! I’m sitting in the sun as I write this to warm my bones - it’s so cold inside my house!

I’ve sent a few emails so far about my in-person group coaching program and the last one ended like this:

“No goal is too big or too small in this group!
Come as you are but be ready to take action.”


I truly mean that as sometimes people think coaching is not for them because they feel like their desires are too small and simple. May I just say that any longing in your heart, no matter how “small” is worth following up with action. Today I wanted to walk you through the purpose of goals and what they could possibly look like for you in this program. 

Goal setting has been a part of my own life for many years - not constantly (I’m a believer in carving out some down time - as hard as I find that to do sometimes!) but regular goal setting gives me an anchor and a sense of purpose. It’s a means of being intentional with my time and reflective in terms of what I want my life to look and feel like. The times in my life when I have set really clear goals and then locked in action steps to take (while having someone hold me accountable) have been the most productive and purposeful of my life.

Do you relate?

~ Procrastination

~ Lost time on social media or Netflix

~ Not knowing how that hour passed or where the day / month / year went nor what you did with it...

Do you want your ‘daily acts’ to be trivial or do you want to make them count towards something bigger?

I know what I prefer!

Another way of looking at it is
Goals + Commitment = Dreams Come True

So often we let ourselves dream about how we’d like to be spending our time or what we’d love our life to feel like only to allow that to be shut down by that little voice inside that says “Who do you think you are?” - to dream that, want that or even dare think that it’s a possibility. We get overwhelmed by the “hows” and project too far down the track - we forget that we simply need to begin...and then move forward.

By creating an emotive, measurable, inspiring and achievable goal (or 2) you are given a focus for the 3 months to start turning inward for deep reflection and outward for taking that next step.

Here are a few of the actual goals my previous clients have created: 

Live with more presence and create space just to be.
Feel confident & courageous to implement new ideas.
Plan my time to feel organised and focused.
Create a market stall to expand my jewellery business.


Goals like these are inspiring and feelings based - we check in regularly with how you’re feeling about your goals to keep you motivated and moving forward! You want to feel moved by your goal - at a soul level.

And as you can see these goals encompass a variety of “life areas” - from organisation and productivity or bringing a business to life, to self confidence and spirituality.

The goals will be as diverse as the needs of the group and my skills lie in tailoring support to the individual needs of my clients (after 17 years as a school teacher providing individualised support I’m a dab hand at this!).

Of course blocks inevitably arise and these are less diverse I’ve found!! They’re generally centred around getting out of our own way (the “small self” or ego rearing its ugly head), fear & self-limiting beliefs.You’ll have company in the challenges and gain clarity from confusion.
