PaPaS celebrates 18 years
PaPaS was registered as a Cochrane review group in 1998, and we are celebrating with an afternoon of presentations and discussions, followed by a drinks reception. See here for further details.
We have been busy updating our guidance documents. If you are currently working on a protocol or review, we recommend you familiarise yourself with our updated MECIR templates for protocols (here) and reviews (here). You can find all of our guidance documents on our website here.
Dying Matters Awareness Week
9 - 15 May 2016 is Dying Matters Awareness Week, hosted by the Dying Matters Coalition. This campaign aims to provide the opportunity to talk about dying, death, bereavement, and making plans for the end of life. We will be collaborating with the Dying Matters Coalition to help raise awareness. See here for more information.
As you know, we routinely use Archie to send you ticket emails with details of the task we would like you to complete. When you have finished the required work and can complete your task, it is helpful if you follow the link in the Archie 'ticket' email. This simply ensures that the database is automatically updated, and avoids any delays or missed emails. See here for an example and here for further details.
Covidence is the new tool endorsed by Cochrane; please cite it in your review when you've used it; we recommend it to help with key steps such as citation screening and risk of bias assessment; please let us know what you think- we'd love to hear your experiences of it, as it is a new tool. See here for further details.
