Happy New Year! 2019 was a fantastic year for SARG and now we are off to a wonderful start to 2020. SARG has been expanding on our pet food for seniors program, planning the future dates for our free spay/neuter clinic, getting ready for our annual gala, and of course above all rescuing and rehoming lots of cats and dogs. Last year we were able to adopt out 42 dogs and 22 cats! What an accomplishment.
The planning for the 2020 Paws for Life Gala is well underway. If you would like to lend a hand in any way or would like to donate something please let us know. The date is set for April 17th at St. Mary's Family Life Center so please plan on coming. It is sure to be a wonderful event as always. The Paws for Life Gala website will be updated weekly, please check it out when you have some time.
We hope all of you have made some wonderful memories this last year and are looking forward to a marvelous 2020.

100% of every donation given to SARG goes to support our animal efforts. Here are just a few of the efforts you have helped us with this year.
1. Monthly Free spay/neuter and vaccines clinic (13 clinics in 2019) 178 animals treated total cost $14,077
2. Medical assists for emergency care of pets whose owners don't have the ability to pay. 38 animals helped totaling $4,489.58
3, Monthly distribution of pet food at the Clinton Senior Center & Oak Ridge Food Pantry. totaling $1,800
4. All the care for the adoptable animals in our program. We usually have 20-30 dogs and cats, plus our permanent fosters, at any given time. In 2018 those expenses were over $65,000 and we anticipate it will be close to that again for 2019.
SARG does not employ anyone. All of us are volunteers so all of the money you donate goes directly to support these programs, Thank you all for your generous donations.
