Over the last six years,
your Mardi Bras contributions have allowed BRAWS to:
-Deliver pads, tampons, new bras & underwear to local domestic violence, family & emergency shelters, transitional housing & community partners weekly or monthly;
-Provide supplies to students and their families monthly, including menstrual products, underwear & bras for school-age children;
-Partner with local schools and government facilities to provide dispensers, free tampons & pads to school/public bathrooms;
-Support individuals addicted and recovering from substance use disorder by distributing basic, overlooked necessities;
-Provide resources to formerly incarcerated women who are re-entering society;
-Supply period products and undergarments to children in foster care as they transition in and out of the system;
-Offer emergency relief to those hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic, hurricane disasters, victims of fires throughout the area and in neighboring states.
