Sunflowers all over Plaistow South - can you help us?
We have so far given out 10 sunflower seed packs to local residents, and hope to give out more. We would love it if this summer South Plaistow explodes with sunflower blooms in people's front gardens, to symbolise hope, solidarity and togetherness. Can you help? Send your name and address to Green Spaces Community Worker Milena on 07388406-499, and she will drop of a few sunflower seeds for you to grow through your letterbox.

We are also delighted with the tree pit mini community gardens in Tunmarsh Lane which are looking lovely. Both these spaces would welcome anyone willing to walk by and water the plants growing in raised beds, the trees and the tree pits.

Gentle yoga in the morning will help stretch stiff muscles, get the circulation going and allow you to start the day refreshed and invigorated. There’s loads of instructors on You Tube, but do try Adriene.
