Apple Day is 21st October - some ideas to celebrate it!
It’s apple season! Apples can have low food miles if you buy them from London Orchards, or maybe try the Greenway Orchard, or even better go over on Thursdays 11-2 to help out.  If you have a tree and can’t eat them, why not leave them out the front for neighbours?  For apple recipe ideas, try these Oddbox suggestions – Oddbox is a veg & fruit delivery scheme using food that would be wasted.
Time to talk about about racism and inequality
Register for this Newham Council online conversation on such an important issue.
