            Wow, who would have thought that we would make it this far? Thanks to our partners in progress, amazing collaborators, generous institutions, and dynamic government offices, we at SUGPAT have helped many adolescents both in-school and out-of-school youth to discover, develop, and reach for their dreams.

            We've done so much in the last quarter of 2018 and we want to share the good news with you all. Read below to see what we have been up to here in SUGPAT.  This is our November-December E-Newsletter. Read on below!
Pioneer regional leadership camp empowers OSYs across Peninsula

More than 40 out-of-school youth (OSY) from all over Zamboanga Peninsula gathered last December 12 to 16 at the Mercedes Retreat House in Zamboanga City for the first ever leadership camp of its kind in the region.

Mental health put on focus in 4th youth talks forum

Aiming to capacitate the youth of Zamboanga City on “first aid intervention” regarding mental health issues, the last SUGPAT Youth Talks of the year was organized last November 30.

SUGPAT Fellows lead in organizing community projects around ZC

Almost 30 out-of-school youth developed and implemented projects in different areas in Zamboanga City, addressing selected issues and problems of the target community as part of their 6-month curriculum.

SUGPAT unites fellows and their parents in family strengthening program

The five short films made by fellows from the Alternative School for Peacebuilding and the Arts were screened in different communities around Zamboanga City through the SUGPAT Travelling Film Festival.

The class president of the SUGPAT Alternative School for Peacebuilding and the Arts was elected as a representative of the out-of-school youth sector as part of the city’s youth development council last November 20.
